Chaz Reinhold

You guys crack me up. A guy, yes just a guy, is surrounded by police. He grabs a gun and gets killed. End of story.

Y'know, it's interesting that you choose to use Ira Hayes as an example of a war hero.
Mainly because nothing he did was particularly notable.  He just happened to be in a picture taken of a reenactment of a flag raising, that became popular.
[Ira is the Marine in the reenacted picture not touching the flag]

Guerena became a disgrace to the Marine Corps when he committed a felony by confronting Law Enforcement Officers with a loaded weapon, a fact that NO ONE, including his own WIFE, disputes.

Mudwick I am only estimating that BayEagle4u is referring to epically long excellent article and evaluation which was followed by Chaz's inane statement.Yes : Epic failed. What else is to be expected here? Maybe if you would actually read what this evaluation says then you would stop your haphazard statements which you seems to be spewing just  for sake of generating digital "noise".
Please everybody do your self a favor and read this excellent link posted by BabyEagle4u
Most interested I would be in comments by Slamdunc. Here is the link one more time.

I think it's easy for people on one side or the other to rush to judgement, some of the biggest critics of police and military are former police/military. I hate that a young father died, whether it was because of poor judgement, misunderstanding, poor training, illegal activity, whatever. IF, and that is a big IF, it was caused because of poor training on the department's fault, there is a bigger underlying problem. I find it hard to hold the officers up to this "higher" standard when they are unable to train to that standard. I think people and media often jump at any opportunity to knock police and military, though they rely on them for safety and protection. Though it's not said out loud, many people look at the people as uneducated or poorly educated and those are the only jobs they can get, which IMO is a shame and untrue most of the time. Many times many people do not want to allocate the funds it requires to have a top notch force/military, thankfully there are people who continue to serve despite the negative attacks and second guessing that is so easy to do and goes on far more than any praise for the "mundane" good acts that go on daily. I think BE's posted aritcle says it best when the writer says that there are too many unknowns to know what you don't know. I hope that whatever becomes of this id fair and not politically or publicly motivated and no matter what, a child and wife are grieving, a sad situation not matter how it came about. For the record we are a family of gun owners and we take that responsibility very seriously-
