Shtal

vonissk,

I really have no interest  answering any of your questions, you can deny all you want, but this thread was about evolution is it fact or theory.
I am done on this thread,
Shtal.

How many times have you been done on this thread? I don't care if you answert me or not--I know you don't like me and that's fine cause I dislike you also. But I think the real reason you won't answer me is cause you can't. You don't know and can't think of a way to make it sound logical.

You know there are several people I don't like on this board but they would never know it because I try to treat them as I do everyone else. But when someone is wrong I am going to tell them about it.

Stal isn't going to make his beliefs sound logical for those of you who are seeking that; so give it up...

Number one; Shtal is not educated/taught enough to defend his theory Were you debating with those more educated this would be a whole different thread ..

Secondly, faith is anything but logical,,You are asking something that is impossible...Faith is not logical and was never intended to be...

Ruger1,
I know English is not shtals first language, I do not know the extent of his education, but he is quoting the bible and apparently has not actually read it as per his remarks about Adam and Eve, the garden of Eden, or the casting out.

I may have a fairly high I.Q. but I dropped out of school fed up by the bullshit I endured there and settled for a GED certificate.
That being said, I have read the bible from cover to cover twice in my life time.

You are correct there is no logic found in the bible also no reasons for anything, except maybe where god was displeased and brought down his wrath and punishments.

Actually this page has made my day and gave me a bit of entertainment, in other words a laugh, honestly.

I too am done arguing with fools about God and Evolution, until someone else comes along and demands that they are the one and only and everyone else with a different view is going to hell.

Or until the next person wants to preach instead of discuss anything whatever the topic.

I sense from other posts that shtal is not a bad person and have nothing against him personally.
I do not question his or your faith, I question the behavior and method of those who abuse it.

I'd love something of interest more pleasant to discuss actually, this has been stressful on everyone.

Moons.

Hi  Shtal

Just remember that one day every enemy of God will be defeated.
After sufficient mercy has been expended and God has given every opportunity to every enemy to kneel at the foot of the cross, then you and I can shout,THANK  GOD.
Every enemy will be done away with. Victory, power, glory, honor, and above all, love will reign when Jesus comes back.

I love you my brother in Christ.
Stay strong.

Moons, if any thing, I would think He was bored, not lonesome. I don't think it has ever been mentioned that God ever wanted a mate!  Has there? You know I'm not the Bible thumper or reader, so I only know what the Catholics thought about certain parts of the Bible. Didn't know you were looking for a verse!

No answers to that age old question, might as well be any answer, so long as I don't have to believe it.

Now, this is just to help people like Ibrahim who might read this and wonder, "what the heck is this translation about eels?"  I am referring to what has been said as "sexual morays", not sure how that one got started, but this term being used in this post might be what is known as a "spoonerism".

I am not sure what was meant exactly, because this is a moray:    .

It is an eel. I think someone meant to say either, "sexual forays" or "sexual mores", but I really can't be too sure. So if someone like Ibrahim is scratching his head over that one, I don't blame him.

Edited: I made this post before seeing your post to Ruger1... just to keep the timeline in perspective.

I will reply to you once more even if it goes off topic or even I said I was done here, I had no real intentions giving you complete details, but here is complete answer since you brought this subject.
Did Adam and Eve were capable to differentiated the good and evil before the fall?
No one could claim that the fall of Adam and Eve in which they weren’t able to distinguish between good and evil. They had the power of the mind, far beyond our modern abilities. Adam was known/knew secrets of the nature; he was given the gift of prophecy. This properly to understand the meaning of God's prohibition to eat the fruits of the tree of knowledge; good and evil, it is useful to delve into philology. In Hebrew text: of the Bible, the verb "to know - (jada) - means not purely external knowledge, and the knowledge on their own life experiences. That is, Adam had to distinguish between good and evil, but he did not have to learn from experience of evil, should not take up the evil in violation of God's will. He should know the only life, the truth, and the good, the source of which is God. This knowledge meant union with God. There are a few different points of view, according to which knowledge itself is not evil, but the distinction between good and evil implies a lower level of existence. If you were in God, you rush to him with the mind and senses; the desire to know is the same thing is God, the desire to know the evil would mean removing the person from the contemplation of God, the falling away from God, that’s the one of the desire to know evil, which was already a sin.

That sounds exactly like what Jesus would say!    I always find it fascinating when the most vocal "Christians" completely miss the message.  We could always substitute the name "Jesus" for "Mohammed." Gouda it sounds like you are twisting the teachings of Christ in the same way that Islamic extremists have done with the Koran.  I would think Christ would be very disappointed with you both for tarnishing his name and message.

I re read my post and wanted to make sure I expressed myself appropriately. My intention was not to insult Shtal's intelligence.

You can read the Bible till the cows come home, but spiritual wisdom does not come by simply reading words off a page..> I know lol it sounds funny to me too <...

It pleased God to reveal Himself through that which is considered foolish, rather than through man's attempts at knowledge. It is no accident that the contents of scripture is laughable to most people; its intended to be that way actually..

Things are coming along just as they should. Faith is not a piece of merchandise that you can purchase. It's not for sale and it's not free...It belongs to God, purchased by Christ, and given to those whom He chooses...

So no need for folks to worry,,God is not waiting around for you to believe in Him or His Word....His Will ..will be done "on earth as it is in heaven"...without your cooperation, approval or acceptance...

Deanna,,,
