You guys are still beating this to death?

Geez, you mean the video of the SWAT Team blaring their sirens ten feet from the house, and yelling "POLICE, WE HAVE A SEARCH WARRANT" over and over weren't enough to convince you that the guy knew it was the Cops at his door in broad daylight?

Exactly!  Like so many threads on here it has gone back to insulting woman, LEO's, or any one with a different opinion.  The usual stuff.

The insulting stuff here is a direct target on humanity the American way, the USMC, the entire DOI and US Constitution >> Bill of Rights Amendments 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 to be exact on this thread.

Two Moons nice to see ya still around, how ya been ?

 Thank you!!!

Slamdunc you presents your self here with a conviction  of a person who is a LEO, who  has all the answers for us here. Thus let me ask you 5. clarifying questions. I have these questions for you because I have some most dear friends who are police officers who totally disagree with your assumptions  and deductions here and they are really appalled that you would be making assumption like this freely as a police officer on international forum and  potentially dishonoring innocent man.

Thus please clarify by answering these questions.
1. Besides  your experience how criminals behave in certain situations. ...Do you have actual proof that the guy was criminal and that proof gives you the right to dishonor prematurely potentially innocent and brave  person. Or you are just assuming that he is guilty, because he got shot by police?
2. This was a serving of a warrant. Since this was according to you and superior officers on the scene, such a dangerous person, that he needed to be served warrant by SWAT team ...Is it then a standard procedure to do it by SWAT in densely populated neighborhood or since there was no present  danger, do you think it would be more prudent and appropriate to do it in some remote area of AZ or such when he was driving from a night shift tired by work in a mine,  where he could be pulled over and arrested without endangering densely populated neighborhood?
3. Do you think that cops in self defence can shoot indiscriminately in direction of innocent people like this guy's 4 yeas old child which most definitely by any standard is innocent and innocent neighbors which found bullets in their homes?
4. Do you think that your superior officers would appreciate what you are saying here so adamantly presenting your self here as a police officer?
5. And most importantly. Are you going to personally apologize to  the family of this  dead man if it will be proven that you were wrong?

I'm no longer a LEO but I can answer some of your questions:

"1. Besides  your experience how criminals behave in certain situations. ...Do you have actual proof that the guy was criminal and that proof gives you the right to dishonor prematurely potentially innocent and brave  person. Or you are just assuming that he is guilty, because he got shot by police?"

Doesn't matter if he was innocent or not at this point.  The authorities had enough probable cause for a judge to issue a search warrant.  The appropriate response when law enforcement comes to your door with a warrant is to let them in and have the matter adjudicated in court, not resist.  Feel free to react however you see fit if you find yourself in this circumstance but you'll probably lose.

"2. This was a serving of a warrant. Since this was according to you and superior officers on the scene, such a dangerous person, that he needed to be served warrant by SWAT team ...Is it then a standard procedure to do it by SWAT in densely populated neighborhood or since there was no present  danger, do you think it would be more prudent and appropriate to do it in some remote area of AZ or such when he was driving from a night shift tired by work in a mine,  where he could be pulled over and arrested without endangering densely populated neighborhood?"

If the warrant is for evidence the authorities expect to find on the premises rather than for the individual, it must be served at the residence.

"3. Do you think that cops in self defence can shoot indiscriminately in direction of innocent people like this guy's 4 yeas old child which most definitely by any standard is innocent and innocent neighbors which found bullets in their homes?"

I think that's a judgement call that none of us here are at liberty to make unless and until we are looking down the barrel of an assault rifle.

Freedom, Hans, does not imply lawlessness.
