Yup, I'm a she. :) No problem though.
We have a training group (not yet an official club) that trains in Ann Arbor on Saturdays. About a half hour drive from Fenton. We're almost full as far as members go, but could probably take on one more.
I can vouch for South Michigan as a good club. They train in Manchester (near Ann Arbor) on Sundays.
OG MI and Capital Area are also very good groups. Though Capital Area is run more as private training and can get pretty expensive, the training is top notch. The other 2 mentioned, BDA and Falconhurst, are also decent clubs but I don't believe they're open to novices. At least I know BDA isn't, I'm not 100% sure on AJ's group. Of those, OG would be the closest to Fenton.
