Metamucil adds fiber and also encases the stool in a gelatin-like covering. A dog fed that stuff can probably pass a large cat swallow whole.

any jewelry deliveries yet??

Pumpkin Pie filling is sometimes used to help animals pass things they shouldn't have eaten. It is VERY high is fiber and most like the taste.

No Luck as of yet. He tried the bread but no luck. I asked him to try the fiber and the butter method. We'll see........

Howdy,

as mentioned before, luckily your friend knows where the wedding band is at......... dont even want to imagine how the wife would react if i would loose it without having a clue where ....... i definetly would be up for a ride !!

Your friend should consider himself lucky, and wait it out as mentioned - tell him to have fun pooking in the puppy poo !

You all have a great weekend. Regards Ulli Dresbach

What ever happened with this ring?

by Domenic on 15 August 2007 - 12:08

I would caution AGAINST   the butter and bacon grease as you dont want to give the pup a case of pancreatitice(sp?) if you accidently give to much.Metamucil ,I dont  know about giving that type of fibre  to a young pup.The ONLY THING that i would do IF i could not wait till it passes on its own is a little pumpkin in a can BUT make sure you get the right one.

I would think that a ring with no sharp edges would pass through harmlessly.  I like the idea of a metal detector.  Maybe he could use it to monitor the ring's progress through the dog.
