Forgot to mention: A breed survey is an SV event, no AKC event.
SV does allow several owners, but not several breeders for one dog - might be a reason in case they only mentioned "one" breeder.

Apparently, the legal issues are still being addressed. Dawn recently had a court date.

Susie : UK Surveys regularly allow for 2 breeder names - as co-breeders, partnerships. I have also seen multiples on some, where a whole consortium of people make the breeding decisions on particular dogs / litters, but am not sure if anyone has considered making Rules about that ! I think our Kennel Club allows groups of breeders to Register a litter, too.
Not sure if there is any ceiling on how many, I'll need to check.
In practise of course it is likely that ONE of those listed cares for the bitch, takes her to the stud dog, assists in raising the litter to sale point. If multiple pups from the litter are 'run on', probably they get distributed between the co-signees.
