NOt me.. They can clean a pup up for apic.. No excuse to be a nasty person.

the pup isn't clean? He looks fine to me - and as I said - the background of a picture behind a young puppy isn't (IMO) a clear indication of what the whole house looks like. It's a good thing IMO that they took the picture IN the house - means they might keep the pups in the house, spend some time with them, they aren't stuck outside or in a kennel all the time - maybe they in fact DO spend more time caring for their animals than worrying about washing down a wall. It's how you look at it, I guess. My "mud room" wall is dirty - but the rest of the house isn't. Noone has ever commented on how filthy my house is after they've been through the mud room - now if the pup was skinny, dirty, or there were feces visible in the picture, or on the pup - then that's a different story. molly

I can see where you are both coming from, and I must be in a better mood today too :-) I guess my big quirk yesterday was, WHY say TOP show dog blah blah blah, When clearly that is not the case with this particular pup, then when you read the ad it says 2 litters yada yada yada, Then the same individual adverts a female that looks like freaking sharpei X. All of those little things combined had my nose kinked. And ya if I'm gonna take pics, I'm not gonna do it in the mud room. Presentation and Representation I guess.

OK heres another one, "2 Year old working male needs working home", Now look at the date on the picture ?? 01/01/2005 and that dog is clearly not a "puppy" so how old is he ?? Really ?? Or is this a different dog ?? which I think is likely in this case, I saw another one of this persons adverts yesterday where I suspected that the photo shown was not the photo of the dog actually adverting due to Dates on the photos.

Echo I took it that the your post about the ad was "questionable" due to the picture appeared to show possible unclean conditions plus the white on it's foot does make it undesireable for most people wanting show quality pups. If this was my ad I would be defending myself if it was not true.

by EchoMeadows on 25 March 2007 - 20:03

ya, well like you said, It is what it is. it's kind of a bummer to see that though, the entire ad in my OP was questionable, the white feet, the background suggested less than quality control if you will of "what it looks like" and then when you read it it goes on about 2 litters. Just a little unorthodox I guess. JMO and definately had something to do with the "Mood" I was in, LOL. I guess Presentation and Representation is more important to some than others. :-) I hear ya DR.

We all seen the ads, "Top Show", "Very Promising", "Great Great Great Gandson", Why is this such a surprise. I see it all the time. How much of this is true? So the background is not that great. Maybe they should take their pups to Sears Photo Studio next time.
