I would still like to see a place on pedigrees to add when the dog died, and maybe what the cause of death was. It would help in researching lines, IMO, for things like DM or Bloat.

Also in the pedigree search, as you are typing the name, it would be nice for the incorrect names to eliminate themselves like they do on the current version. There are so many subtle differences in names or spelling, espescially when it comes to names that have those funky German characters in them, that its nice to have the choices available.

I hear your pain. The good thing is you can just shut the ad blocker off for PDB. Because the viruses didn't come from here. There is no way this site would place as high as it does in search rankings if there were viruses. Googlebot crawls this site at least once a day.

I have tried for years to get Oli to include a date of death. I will make one last pitch for it.

Has he given any reason as to why? I can't see that it would hinder anything.

I don't mind seeing ads. I'm fine with them. I'd rather see the ads than pay.

I'd like to see a section for "date of death" to give an idea what lines have better longevity as well.

Maybe different membership levels? Also, improving the breeder pages would be great. Other than that, I love PDB. It has been instrumental in all I've done since I joined.

I am having trouble looking Breeders up by State on the new site am I missing something? Also if you were registered as a breeder on the old do you now need to register as if a new breeder on the new site? Thanks for any help.

Some functions are not set up in the new version but will be when it is changed over.  The breeder names will transfer you do not need reenter them.
