I would suggest first starting with either a complete frozen or dehydrated raw food.

As you get more comfortable and knowledgeable about raw feeding you can switch to a pre-made base (Honest Kitchen has a couple) and add your own meat/organs.

Then if you want to take the full plunge you can create your own diet.

Really don't need to get caught up in all the percentages like you listed above, just remember their diets need approx 80% meat, 5-10 percent bone 5-10 percent organ meats depending on how the dogs handle organ meats, you can fill in with a little vegi, I would limit fruits as they have quite a bit of sugar the dogs don't need, in fact you can eliminate all fruits and vegi's if you want.

Depending on the age of the dog, the energy level, I used l l/2% to 2% of their body weight for the amounts.  Just drop in a bowl and let them enjoy.  I liked chunks of meats for my guys.  Of course the weight percentages can go up or down if they get too fat or if they are loosing weight;  just have to experiment a bit with the amount you feed.  Each dog is different that is why I suggested to use a premixed frozen formula to start as the guess work is done for you.  See how they do and toss them a leg quarter if you feel they can handle it.  I also did weigh all their meals as found myself feeding not enough or too much by eye balling it.  For extra bone buy leg bones with morrow for them that can add extra calcium or knuckle bones also are OK.  Just don't leave them with bones unattended.  Good luck  NAn

So have no experience with raw food, but could it be possible to do this tipe of feeding to a dog allergic to meat? I've search about it and cannot find any info about it...

At AnaSilva:  Allergic to what meats:  I find it really hard to understand that a dog is allergic to ALL meats.  But if so, sorry to hear this.  You could try "QUINOA" AS YOUR protein source, leafy green vegi's for vitamins and possibly a small amount of low sugar fruits, also flaxseed for Omegas;  Oatmeal, eggs raw or cooked.  You would have to cook Quinoa first but you could cook in large batches for convenience.

I would look up Mercola Healthy pets;  they might have some more ideas of what you could use instead of meat.

How about fish;  plenty of sources to get fish either fresh, frozen, canned and some raw fish can be used.  Good luck

Western Rider  the breeder was feding her the same kibble we where using with almost all our dogs (don't have just the ones I presented befor that live with me, Becky, Isa and Mic, also have a bunch of others at my mum's and my mother in law house that are just like if they were mine).

It was really hard to know what was going on with her, went to 2 diferente vets befor discover what was the problem.... It started when she was about 4 mounths (the breeder swear she didn't had anything while she was with him) we were feeding here a realy good kible chicken based, a vitamins and fortifying oil (cod liver based), and some raw calf meat mix with the kible. It started to be just heavy scratching everywhere, followed by a few small pimples/red spots around the body, which later became very concentrated in the ears (in and out), and finally started to have constant diarrhea which often had blood, also has always been very undeveloped and lean.

Veterinarians was not able to find out what was going on, did tests and analyzes and nothing accused, fungi, mites, etc., nothing ... so we went to our vet always rely (even we had not gone there because it is a little expensive and at the time we had no way to pay) he immediately thought of food allergies ('d just had a case before we meet) so we started doing medication and she immediately improved a lot, then we did an elimination diet, start with chicken and rice and it just became much worse, we move to rice and salmon, she did not worsen so we started with a kible that was meatless and all symptoms disappeared passed few weeks. meanwhile already tried lamb, rabbit and beef, allergic to all... (She is now about 2 years).
