Took Chaos to the vet today. They aspirated what we thought was a cyst. Turns out that apparently he stepped on something that penetrated his pad but did not go out the top of his foot! And in turn it, got infected. They drained it, and he is on antibiotics for the next two weeks twice a day. The Vet told me that I could continue to soak his foot in the epson salts if I wanted to, if it makes it feel better. He should feel better in a few days. :-) Thanks everyone.
