Ok, then you're NOT talking about bicolor, RBR. Please do not take offense to this but I don't know any other way to say this other than bluntly; if you don't know what GSD colors are called, you're a long way away from enough knowledge to breed. You said you "didn't mind bicolor" but that you haven't seen any. I posted bicolor to show you that they most certainly exist.
You are looking for a traditional black and tan or black and red, then. Black and reds are found in showlines, and black and tans more in working lines, with exceptions on both sides, of course. There are more "blankets" than saddles in working lines. It sounds like you would be best served by telling us what it is you want in the dog and maybe the board can offer some suggestions?
Cutaway, I am not a fan of pups, either. He is a really good puppy- he's not a nice puppy but he's a good puppy, if that makes sense. He's fairly calm and well-mannered, so long as you do exactly as he wishes. :) He's for sale....for $100,000.

RBR, is this color suitable to you?

Please know I ONLY asking about the coloration.

I do know my colors in dogs. If you go back to the original post you will see what I'm asking. I don't state the saddle part and for that I opoligize. Yes I do know bi colors exist because I own one borderline to a bi. Yes a blanketed color if fine.
I really really don't want to sound rude but I am not an idiot. I do ask a lot of question to things I don't know or want clarification on something I am correct about/ have been told about and/or want to know more details about.
Let me clearafy my question: I have been told there are Black and Tan/Red with saddles/blankets in a working line. The only thing I have local are mostly blacks and sables which I don't like at all, I don't care what line it is. I would like to know if there are breeders of this color I would like to talk to them and go into more detail on traits, breeding, personality about possible getting a pup/dog? I do not breed for color if that was the case I wouldn't be in this conversation :) I'm not concerned with any black or sable colors. There are plenty of those dog near me that I can question about but there are not saddle backs near me is why I'm here.

Again, I am not trying to be mean. Really!!! But "borderline to a bi" is not a GSD color, and if you don't know what lines carry b&t then you're a long way from breeding. You don't have to be "an idiot" to be nowhere near knowlegeable enough to breed. Gustav told you a page ago, I thought, where to find black and tan working lines. Sorry if that was in a different thread and I mixed them up. You said the color I posted is fine. Well, the pedigree was attached. There you go; there are some lines that produce black and tans. However, I would never under any circumstances recommend that sire for someone novice. But the thread wasn't about that; it was about color so there you go.
And not to be really picky, but is breeding AGAINST two MAJOR colors in working lines any more noble and endeavor than breeding FOR a certain color? Just for the sake of perspective.....
If I'm buying a dog, I find the dog with traits I want, and I don't care what color it is so long as the pigment is strong, and I don't care where the dog is. Ruling out dogs who are not local and all sables and all blacks is not leaving a ton of room for really deserving dogs. Instead, it sounds like you would be much better served with a show line.

I swear, I am not trying to be rude in my post above but cannot think of a way to sugar coat that and still say what I mean. Just food for thought.

Mithuna, watch her closely for bloat. If you spay her (not saying you should, just saying if you do) I would seriouslyconsider a gastropexy with that linebreeding on Uncas.
