Jackie I'm curious - how did your brother come to aquire a puppy
without knowing what breed or mix it is supposed to be ?
Specially a pup that looks so definitely like one breed ?

Lol, I was the ignorami! He knew what it was & what he wanted! He texted me the picture stating " new family member", & I didn't recognize the breed & ASSumed it was a mutt....
I talked to him last night & he was estactic! And so in love with this pup already...
So it wasn't him it was me! I kinda thought it looked like an Aussie, but it looked too big in the picture to me... But actually he is a miniature Aussie, purebred, registered, warrentied, parents both AKC champs, all health tests done, bred for 'temperament'....so I'm the chump here. I'm so involved with my own GSDs I guess I don't get out too much anymore, lol.
Such a pretty pup tho', my brother sent me another picture, he & that pup are bonded already, he says. It's so cool!

(Can you tell I'm happy for him? He's a good person, & he's had a tough time during & since my mom died, he served his nation & now his son is serving. Last year he dug out & built an inground swimming pool for "fun" by hand....and it's beautiful! I'm glad he's got a buddy now that will give him love & attention!)
