gsdlvr2, No problem here, no disrespect taken or offense for that matter, and yes, I know and appreciate you are trying to help. I simply want people to think things through and then ask appropriate and clear questions. It will save them heartburn in the long run. General questions are fine, if they are couched that way. But to even suggest a kennel means I have to know much, much more. I too could recommend some breeders, but I won't do that until I know if the person is serious and also know whether it could be a good match. Otherwise, I am wasting everyone's time, including the breeder. Good breeders do not want to waste their time on people who are not clear about what it is they are looking for. Take care.

I don't think it is appropriate to always answer a question with a question. I assume maybe people will do their own research after looking at the info provided, maybe it is wrong to assume, but it was a simple answer to a simple question....

havoc, you still haven't said what it is you are specifically looking for ???? You did not address hodie's post.

You're not going to get screwed buying a dog from Kirschental. I think everybody knows they have been combining the finest herding lines with correct, healthy show lines (who can also work). and have been very successful doing this. They also have "separate" all working pedigrees. I have bought 3 dogs from them in 2 years and each time I got exactly what I expected, and more-- If you want a male with "correct" conformation that you can breed -- that is what you will get-- the price is very low because there are no guarantees -- you have to raise up the pup and see how it turns out - for putting in that time and effort -- you save thousands of dollars. otherwise you need to buy a titled adult for many thousands of dollars. You can also get adult bitches shipped bred for a high but reasonable price. I have pups from them than have ZW ratings in the 70s. I have all ears up and all correct size and excellent color and dark eyes, and I know when I wire money - I will find a pup on the next flight !! So by all means, do your homework, then e-mail KIRSCHENTAL.
