So the sire is also on the 5th generation of the dam's side. (Frozen semen I think) Things like this happen as former natural barriers such as lifespan length break down with scientific advances.

GSD Admin, I was not implying that you guys were slacking or not doing a good job. I was actually giving you all a compliment. Sorry you all took it wrong.
Mr Darcy, the reason I did not send a pm to a moderator because I was not sure it was a PDB issue or just an issue for me. I thought doing a thread was a great way to see if others were having the same issue before bothering admin which may have been for nothing. Turns out it was a good decision on my part as I am not the only one experienceing it.
