I purchased a dog from Slovakia in December 2006 and received the Certificate of Registration (transfer of ownership with my name on it) from the Slovenska Kynologicka Jednota ...which the AKC requires...in May 2007 = 6 months. The AKC only took a few weeks to process everything.
