wt-metall has a representative in nj; i've personally seen their stuff; it's pretty nice; they can custom your crate to angles and any distances you specify. m.

My very favorite crate is an old Bob McKee collapsible aluminum crate. Takes about a minute to set up, a lot less to tear down. I've had it since the early nineties. It probably has 100K air miles on it. The flyer used to show 4 of them set up, with a car sitting on top of them. It wasn't cheap. With the optional 2nd barred "window" in the back and the channeled rubber top, 40" x 26" x 30" high it was about $700. with the shipping 'way back then. I guess McKee must've passed away. Can't find any mention of him anymore. His business used to be near L.A. I WISH someone would start making them again. SS

Hello,

I ran into this post doing a search for used aluminum dog crates.

Do you still have it for sale? if so how much do you want?

Hodie,

I mean't  to address you origionally about the aluminum crate but didn't  realize that this site doesn't quote posts like other sites do, or I did it wrong. So If you still have it let me know.

Also if anyone else has used aluminum dog crates for sale let me know.

I still have two excellent condition, custom aluminum crates for sale. Email me for details. These are the top of the line and are NOT cheap, but are much cheaper than buying new because the cost of aluminum has risen dramatically. I also have an entire setup in my vehicle which is excellent, containing two drawers for equipment and two crates custom made for me.

If you are interested but don't live near Colorado, it would likely be a pain in the butt and costly to ship. But we can cross that bridge later.

Shelly,

The only ones that I have seen that collapse are these.
