PMing you; don't want to derail Erin's thread.

She had some fractures in her skull, but the vet said unless we wanted to try to reconstruct her skull and major surgery involved, just let her be, since she didn't seem to be bothered by it.. My vet can not believe how this dog isn't dead yet LoL.. Both incidents happened on our land, she was shot in our pasture and for some reason she decided to attack the rear tire of the guy's tractor who was disking a field for us.. He has been here every week with that tractor, bringing hay.. She just darted out at it, grabbed the tread, and it pulled her under.. She is the sweetest dog, just not the brightest crayon in the box :) We love her anyway
You can derail away, I was just bored looking through some pics on my lap top, thought I'd share :)

So she's normal, essentially? Even with the skull damage? Amazing. They're so resilient.

She got right up and ran off after the tire rolled off her, I took her straight to vet, thinking she was going to fall out at any minuet.. She was eating in the truck on way to vet, found something the kids dropped on floor!! She has acted the same, but like I said, she has never been the smartest dog LoL.. She is one of those happy, goofy dogs..

She is one tough cookie!

And the born and bred farmers around here laugh at the former suburb kid for being so vigilant as to where dogs, cats, chickens and anything else small are located when using the tractor...THIS is the reason why I am so strict about having none of those roamin in the vicinity when the tractor's in use.  This is one very lucky dog...if she could pick out a Powerball ticket for you, it would be worth risking the few bucks on it!

Hexe, I get laughed at too! I won't move until I have all dogs accounted for (on someone else's property) because I can't see them and they like to circle wheels. I never understood why not wanting to run a dog over was so funny.

LF, I had no idea anyone would even remember her. Sure, I can post updates. I'll start them a thread. They each brought home the 2nd place ribbon! It was Simon's first and Seven's second show ever. Star She is 3.5 now...how time flies.

A local child was accidentally run over by her father while riding a lawn tractor, both of her legs were amputated below the knees and she will be in rehab for a very long time. Put the kids and dogs away when using a power mower.
