I know Sibes are not HUGE dogs, but there still seems a hell of
a size difference between these two breeds. I would be concerned
about birthing difficulties etc ? Is it worth putting dogs thru' those
risks, just to get 'cute' ?
BTW is that one in Lineage's pic FOR REAL ? Looks plastic !
(Compared to those on the web links.)

Maybe the siberian would be able to deliver, without difficulty, pups sired by a pom?

by vonissk on 17 July 2013 - 20:07
I saw some pups once that were half doxen and pointer and yes the pointer was the mom. What I don't understand is if they wanted these cute little balls of fluff to stay that way AND get the same looks was breed a pom to a Klai Klee--they are bred down from a Husky.......oh but then I guess you couldn't get the cutesy name and way to drag in more bucks. Sad part is some of them are going to be bigger than lap and carry around dogs, so will they still be as cute and as wanted then?

Absolutely, Vonissk. in fact when I first saw this I wondered why bother
at all when the Kleekai exists already ?
Joan, yeah I had thought about it that way around - but what about
those fools who can't find the Pom a box to stand on ? LOL It
really does worry me there are ppl out there who would let a husky
impregnate a Pomeranian bitch. (Or even force the issue; or use
A I - its all for the £$£$£$ after all).

It must have been a damned big female pom.

Kalibeck - there was just a story recently on some news site of a litter of li-ligers being born... lion father and liger mother.

by Kalibeck on 18 July 2013 - 04:07
Yes I remember the ligars. I don't know enough about phyllum & species in felines to know if they were technically hybrids or if they could reproduce, & I don't remember enough about the article to say for sure, either. But I do know for sure that those little fuzz ball dogs are not hybrids, just mutts, & certainly neither toys nor worthy of outrageous prices!

I thought ligers were sterile just like mules.
These designer breeds are disgusting. I had a lady come to my shelter and ask if we had any labradoodles and when I said we didn't, she asked if we could tell her of any pet shops or breeders in the area for labradoodles. She then went on to explain how her mom really wanted one and wanted to get one by the end of the week and bring it from the US back to India with her. I told her good luck.

Look at this website.
http://www.pomsky.org/
"A pomsky has amazing energy which makes it ideal for a pet in the home." Lol, so does this mean the dog will be content for an apartment life or will the apartment look like a tornado hit it?
"The pomsky you will get has undergone extensive testing to make sure that what you get will suit your needs." I need one to take all the way to IPO 3. Do you think they will have one for this? LOL
"They are not purebred dogs. This means you get a charming personality and stunning appearance without some of the health concerns common with purebreds."
"Pomsky puppies need to be bottle fed as it can make them feel so much comfortable and this should be followed only for a shorter period of time." Is this after they have been weaned or is this because even the bitch knows something is off and will not nurse?

Really unusual bicolor/black&tan breeding. Just wait; they'll be all the rage...
