IMO He's far too big for the tan to extend much further now. You don't
say how old he is; I'd guess at 4 months by the 2nd photo ? He may
end up in that unenviable area where people argue whether he's a Bi
or a Blanket-back.
For Registration purposes I would play it safe and put Black & Tan
(or Black & Gold) ... because he is that combination of colours, whether
a true Bi-Colour or not ! If AKC is anything like our UK KC on this, they
won't give a rat's anyway.

Thanks! He is 4 months in the latest photo. Retrieves well and can find his teeth [human and unattached..of course:)]
