blitzen, this med worked right from the start and just improved every single symptom, like the dog looks as though its a pampared show dog. NOthing now no red feed not at all.
Strange it just happened so fast. But another strange thing is there is no more need for any spray, ear drops or shampoo. Everything is clear. Dry itchy coat is gone. I still give her a healthy diet with nice supplements to keep immune system up.
I just am shocked at how fast this worked. NO steriod thank god.

I was told if my dog did have food allergy only this med would not do much. I fixed her food issues with elimination diet and just gave her a super super clean grain free diet that made her get proper stools like i said before.
RIght now shes pretty much perfect. DO you think from here on she will stay this way? troupon told me htey will cover her meds for live. 90 percent cover for life. So expense does not matter.
Should i stick to this vs the needles? or just do both so she has the ultimate success? It is up to me in the end according to me my vet. No more foot washes. Nothing. Everything looks perfect. Shes 3 and a half so I have been working on this about 2 years with my vet. THEy kept pushing me to do the stupid foot washes and sprays and i got fed up and went there and said i need something better or i am changing vets and NO Steriods. Dogs cant live that way with daily sprays and food washes they will lick the feet when the shampoo is on them, they can slip on the shampoo, they can lick the spray or it can get in their eye. Once you start a daily thing for live something can happen. THe pads get so dry from being washed they crack and hurt the poor dog. The dog starts to get so sick of being put on the floor every day for sprays and then have its feet washed daily with shampoo. Its just not right, if people arent going through it animals should not either. THe steriods and anti biotics make it worse for their future and more unhealthy. I am just glad that this is fixed now while shes only 3 and a half rather than when shes older. She feels so much better by the way shes acting. Pro/Pre boitics enzymes all of that helps but it cant get rid of it. Omega 3 oils yeah it helps but no its not going to stop it. It all is just good for health and boosts the dogs health and makes their skin much better. It all helped to makke my dogs allergy much less than they would have been i know that.
I hope others listen to this and try the same if they have suffering dogs its just not fair. Lamest advice is keep your dog away from the allergy. So pretty much keep your dog away from everything it loves. We keep our houses clean as possible but i doubht that makes much a diff. No one should lock their dog up in a special allergy free tank so no allergens can get in. There is no way to avoid this stuff. SPecially with a working gsd whos highlight of the day is to go for a hike in the woods or play in the yard.

Cyclosporine is a ridiculous idea for allergies...its an immunosuppressant used in protecting from transplant rejection, it will seriously impair the dogs immunity. Give the dog shots (allergen), if you need to...
