Bubba: I have a couple West German Showlines as well.  I knew what I wanted when I bought this female and she is EXACTLY what I wanted. I personally think she is gorgeous and perfect, but I may be a bit biased since shes one of my babies. Tongue Smile

My point was that when you buy a Czech German Shepherd they should look like a Czech GSD and your girls do .. Your girls are great examples of the Czech lines so there is nothing more you could ask appearance wise.  Most of my GSD are blacks and Czech or Czech/west German.  I was not being critical .. I have some like your Czech/DDR girls and they are smart, fast and tough .. good mothers with good hearts and good heads.

Thanks Bubba.  I completely agree to everything that you've said and my girls are exactly as you describe, smart, fast, and tough.  The original female pictured is also an EXCEPTIONAL mother.  Her very first litter was 11 puppies (which I thought was WAAAAY too many for a new mom) and she raised ALL of them perfectly!  I was so impressed with her mothering.  We're actually getting ready to breed her again and we will be breeding her half-sister after she turns 2 and gets her hips/elbows done.  Thanks again for your compliments, Bubba!

I really appreciate your insights, Ibrahim. That definitely gives me something to work with when I'm choosing studs for them so that I can improve upon the next generation!

I had to do a double take, because this bitch looks just like a dog I used to own ... only yours has more coat. That makes me biased, but I find her very appealing. She can come live with me Tongue Smile

Here are some possible matings to think about from some dogs that contain some excellent Czech bloodlines  .. not much inbreeding with these dogs though so it depends on whether you like or dislike inbreeding.  Plenty of others out there but Czech dogs are harder to find .. these are some I like very much.

Dakar Mariko Bohemia .. Texas breeder   czechworkingdogs.com is the web address

Otis vom Ron  North Carolina Breeder .. vom Ron Haus
Body Jipo-Me
Axel vom Ron
Erik Z Alfovy Zahadry

As I said I have some Czech GSD's that are similar in appearance to your females and the above dogs would be on my wish list .. My bloodlines are not the same and the breeders may not agree that these are good potential matings so talk to them if interested.  Also depends on your location as they are all good dogs.

nicklaus vom OlemansdorfAuggie Vetterhaus
Thanks Ramage, but she definitely already has a forever home. I've had her since she was 7 weeks old. We are located in KY. I have 2 young working line males. One is DDR, the other is Czech/DDR. Of course I want to find males that are the best match for my girls, so I am open to using an outside stud, especially since my males are you and untitled as of now. Here is info on the boys:

Auggie is a real beauty, reminds me of the proud expression on Arabian horse

I really like your boy Auggie .. I'm a fan of Mambo and Chuligan descendants .. not so into the DDR lines but all of your dogs look great and come from great bloodlines .. suspect that was not an accident and you studied long and hard plus searched long and hard to get this group together in one place at one time .. nice job.  Does your Auggie have Mambo eyes??  I have some Mambo blood and they have light eyes which looks cool on my solid blacks. Vom Ron has two Mambo daughters which are full sisters to Itar Jipo-Me who is a stud for Kreative Kennels .. really great dogs, check them out if you haven't seen them already.
