Id use olive oil or fish oil instead of fat......fat sometimes is detrimental to gsd digestion tract..It is a delicate digestion machine,,,,more than other dogs.....fat when it get colder or to a certain temp in the dog or even in bowl will not digest properly going down and this effects gall bladder, etc.,pancreas, liver......
