Thank you Steve and everyone, your sympathies are heartwarming in this time of grief.  He was a very special dog and I am very grateful our paths crossed when they did.  I miss him terribly, RIP Andyman.

 What a great tribute to him, I am glad I got to know him thru all your video's and I see so much of Andy in my boy  Karlo.

The breed has lost one who was near-perfect in every respect,  the embodiment of all the mental pictures conjured in the mind's eye of most humans when hearing the words "German Shepherd": beautiful, strong, trustworthy with children and small, harmless animals, loving to family and select friends, polite to acceptable strangers, but fearsome to enemies; versatility and intelligence by nature, ready to work with his partner at whatever task she asked of him. The joy on your daughter's face, in each picture of them together, is matched by that in Andy's eyes when he was with her--such a fortunate dog to be so adored by his people, such fortunate people to have had the opportunity to adore, and in turn be adored by, such a dog. He leaves huge paw prints for his children and grandchildren to follow.  My condolences of the loss of one of the most brilliant stars in the constellation of the GSD, and in your heart.

Beautiful tribute. I recognize a lot of the pix. Andy was truly a special dog. T will be joining him at the Bridge soon enough. 
I'll send fresh toys and balls and tugs with him when he passes, and a new sleeve cover for St. Michael the Archangel. I'm told he keeps our working dogs busy till we get there. 
RIP brave dog. You are much missed. 
 

So sorry to hear of Andy's passing. I remember hearing on here about him attaining many new titles, or see a video of him learning something new. I always enjoyed the pictures and videos. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him in person and adored him from afar.
