Thanks for the responses. SM, that's what I was wondering...Triumph's Gucci is the great grandsire on the dam's side...I've never seen those lines as puppies, thus nothing to compare to as except for pictures. I already want to run my fingers through his hair! He's sooo freaking cute!
Dawulf, tell Grandma it's Caleb's grandson...maybe she'll soften. She seemed to take a liking to Caleb.
Abby, I'm neutral on color, but I cannot fathom not wanting to see the parents of a puppy I was considering if the sire was right there available for viewing because he's BLACK??? What, like if they didn't see him, they could pretend the puppies are "real German Shepherds" ?
The only bad experience I ever had selling a pup was with people who weren't that interested in seeing the dam and interacting with her. They knew a lot about her, so I didn't think as much of it at the time, but looking back, not wanting to interact with the dam of your pup and seeing what she's like is a red flag, to me, that they may not be in this for the right reasons to make a lasting happy home for a puppy.
Time will tell! In the meantime, I'll take a few more pics and post just to make Dawulf drool;-).

But younger....see the "small eyed look"? In my breedings, that's been a dead giveaway, every time, regardless of what they look like a few weeks later.

Jen, I showed her the pics saying "These are Caleb and Capri's grand puppies", and she's decided they are the cutest things in the world. Hah! Particularly the fluffy one. She loved Caleb... she still brings him up every now and then saying "He was the coolest dog I've ever seen!"
