All three of my GSDs are on it and love it... and their coats look great and one boy who had food allergies has had no problem with it. I sometimes use Wolf King  and sometimes Hund-n-FLocken... depends on what the pet store has on hand. Prior to that I fed TOTW salmon to the one with allergies and ProPlan to the other two... it was a battle to get them to eat  either product consistently.. I didn't know  both(Solid Gold and TOTW)  were Blue Diamond products!!  A few years back my friends who have a nice GSD show kennels lost three of their dogs to GI reated issues after being on Blue Diamond product for  few months.. so I've tried to stay away from Blue Diamond foods!!! Hard to tell anymore WHAT to feed! Most  commercial feeds have been on recall at one time or the other, Solid Gold is about max my budget can handle for the three !

Diamond dog foods and Blue Buffalo are not the same company, nor does Diamond make Blue Buffalo. I can't even find a product called Blue Diamond. I think you are mixing products up. Which is easy enough.

Diamond makes a lot of other company's products because it is cheaper to have someone else run your batches then build your own factory. But then you get into problems like the pet food recalls for sanitation.
So far i've been lucky to never have a dog with any food related problem.
I wish i could afford raw, but i have limited space to store good scraps. But my girl gets some goodies here and there.

I feed blue buffalo. My girls coat looks good on it but not as good as when I give her a spoon or two of coconut oil with it
