I think as far as the PDB offering something, I think she would prefer something more like a "private chatroom" where SL only people could discuss all aspects of their journey with like minded souls. No dissenters allowed. Or they'd have to at least know a secret handshake.

A name change might be good - maybe "a forum for those interested in German and American show lines"? Personally I'd rather see a new forum, but would welcome anything that would give us SL people an exclusive forum where we can talk about our our dogs. Honestly most of us don't even want to brag about show wins or titles because we have showlines. At least I don't.

The problem we have with a new forum is getting to many forums.
What about a private forum - where you pick either showline or workingline and the preference is what you get the other forums stay the same except we do away with working and conformation combine those forums into main and GSD. This would be in the future and is not part of any ongoing plans but me just offering suggestions.

I am a member there, Randy, haven't signed on for a long time. Is it dedicated to showline discussions or open to anyone?

You need to sign up to access the discussion board. There is a forum for most every GSD interest. It was about a year ago it was 'the' place to go to discuss important topics in the GSD world. It's moderated a little tighter than PDB and has more of a constructive group. I find the cross section of contributors to be more involved with the breed and willing to share there.
