The night before the inspection, probably sometime around midnight, I was down on my hands and knees, wearing a face mask, gloves and long sleeves, cleaning the mouse poop and dirt out of the lower cupboards in the kennel kitchen. (The ones I never use.)
And of course, they never even LOOKED in the cupboards!
Nor did they inspect the cat kennel (which I forgot to mop). Nor did they noticed the broken door pull, or the two gate latches that need fixing right now.
Sheesh, the stuff I worried about!
Guess I was expecting a military-style white glove inspeciton!

Congrats!! I know how nerve-wracking that is, I get inspected monthly by my local animal control, and then AKC inspected every 2 years, and it always makes me so nervous but to date I've always passed with 100% compliance with both agencies!

Never under estimate the power of just being a nice person. With the right folks it will always go a long way, just as it just did.
