Sitasmom,

I am truly sorry for your experience.

I too trial a red and black dog and through UScA have done so at multiple club trials, a regional, 3 National Championships, 1 Working Dog Championship, and the Universal Sieger Trial.  I have yet to experience the bias you describe at any level of the organization.

Best to you and thank you for supporting our sport,

Kevin

Why should it be UScA problem to accomidate the members of a completly different orginization ?. I don,t think we need to "fix" any thing. If WDA members want more trials then grow your orginization and have more events. If the GSDCA feels the WDA is such a worthy addition why arent they taking up the mantle and fixing the problem.

I,m a UScA member I have no problem finding trials to fulfll my needs I pay my dues and support my orginization sponsor trophys and support my orginizations with my time. Why should all this benefit someone else from a complelty different orginization that simple has to pay a simple inexpensive entry and take advantage of our hard work?.

Crying that we are out of complience to the SV is chicken shit ! . It,s your orginization fix your own problem!

Well I guess you could say the same about about DVG members entering or other AWDF club members.  Pretty screwed logic since in the last magazine that probably close to 90% of the trials listed had space left in the trials so it's not like non-members are taking away member spots. Every one of those spots is money not going to the local club and the UScA. It costs the same for the judge to evaluate 6-7 UScA member dogs as it would if they were able to fill the spots left with non-members plus the club and UScA would be putting more coin in the bank.  Or is this just about the WDA strictly and not all UScA non-members?

This is about scorebooks issued by the WDA

by SitasMom on 06 February 2013 - 20:02

Jan. 2013

Dr Clemens Lux, the General Secretary of the WUSV............

"The WUSV Constitution mandates that a WUSV Member Club must accept the members of another WUSV Club into its events.
In the United States, there are two WUSV Clubs: the GSDCA and the UScA.

The WDA is not a WUSV Member Club and, normally WDA membership will not require admission of the WDA member into another WUSV member club.

However, in the case of the WDA, there is an internal agreement between the GSDCA and the WDA which provedes that
(1) individuals are deemed to be members of the GSDCA, if they hold a GSDCA/WDA scoure book of a dog,
(2) the score book is issued by the WDA under the authority of the GSDCA and
(3) the scorebook is issued jointly for both the GSDCA and the WDA.

By vitrue of this internal agreement, anyone who possesses such a score book
(1) is deemed a GSDCA member for purposes of entering into a WUSV Member Club event and, as such,
(2) must be accepted by anohter WUSV Member Club for its events."

My reply was to Bob. I want to know exactly which it is to him all non-members or just WDA members? Score book doesn't need to figure into the equation for an answer.

Small minded ness leads to situations like this .....I think everybody knows the outcome regardless of the bravado.

Honestly Bob? Put the political bullshit aside for a second and look hard at what you wrote.
The sport in this country, regardless of the various organizations is small, painfully small.
To alienate and punish those that just want to title their damn dogs is insane.

These 2 National clubs should put their proverbial dicks back in their pants, zip them up,
go wash their hands and try to make nice-nice with each other. All that will come from this
kind of crap is people just walking away from the sport, and it will slowly fade out and die.

 Boys :

I,m  as unpolitical as you can get !  I just believe you pick a orginization and support it,  Instead of whining about your lack of trials build your orginization,  The AWDF and the DVG obviously have a good working relationship with UScA cultivated thru freindship and  common cause, DVG is based in Germany and AWDF is a sport all breed orginization, I don,t believe either of ther parent orginizations have tried to shaft us as has been done by the GSDCA for years, Go to your parent orginization and get there financial support and have more trials, It really is that simple,

In my opinion if UScA were really thinking about the good of the breed they would break with the SV and work with the RSV2000.
