Capstar is only good for 24 hours, and is the short term version of Comfortis which last for 30 days. Same formula different duration. I've used both when i was a groomer and most people are more willing to drop the cash for 30 days of treatment as opposed to one.

Do a google search on food grade diatomaceous earth, supposedly does wonders for fleas and insects of all types. Not to mention the health benefits you get from taking it internally. You will be amazed at the testimonials you will find when you google food grade diatomaceous earth. I don't have a flea problem here so have no personal experience but dogs have been taking it internally for three months, last litter of puppies were parasite free and I only used a dewormer once at two weeks of age. I've now been taking it for almost two weeks, my skin has never been so moisturized, my hands are normally like sandpaper, and they are so soft now just from taking the DE, not using any lotion at all. Google it, you'll be glad you did :)
