Dam has OFA Good Hips and Elbows, Sire has OFA Good hips, no record on elbows. There are half siblings on both, plus dam of the sire is OFA Good, with her dam and some extended family tracable in OFA database. Apparently showline bloodlines. Other than that I don't recognize anything.
Kennel names are important to most breeders as it identifies the dogs they produce and most Euro {syle} breeders do follow that. It is in contracts, and most people understand that as a courtesy if nothing else, the kennel name should be part of the registered name.

Courtesy may be a wishful thought. I have avoided the issue altogether by registering every puppy individually in my name be for transferring ownership to the buyer.

For those who do not know, you can change a dog's AKC Registered name once, if it was registered by the litter owner as long as the dog hasn't been bred or received any show ratings or titles. You do, however, need the litter owner's signature to do so. Here is a link to the form:

I agree and now do the same Louise. It solves alot of problems.
You are right Kaykohl Land, no breeder in their right mind would sign to let you change the name when it includes taking their kennel name off or otherwise disreguarding the contract rules.
I personally use my kennel name first, because "names" of dogs, are many times, listed in alphabetical order. If the kennel name is first, all of the dog or dogs from my kennel will be listed together. This gives me a quick and effecient way of keeping track of my dogs with just a glance.
