look at this site and you will see how much they use him http://www.mohnwiese.de/

I think if you check you will find that maybe Elute did not show very high obedience scores in the BSP. The WUSV was won by Eros back to back. It is the total package that wins the gold. And in Eros's case, he is loaded with alot of GOLD! Jim D.

cueman it is a facts that every serious breeder uses Ellute sa a stud dog,it is not me,it is what I hear, and I know all about Eros ,but dont forget he is under Ronny hand....good luck with your pup,Im sure will be a good dog

There are a lot of top competition dogs that do not produce themselves. That is what I think Blacksable is trying to get at. My trainer is from Germany and has a lot of contacts there and he said the same thing. Ellute produces better.

I did notice more people breeding to his brother and Gringo that is why I asked.

I believe part of it was due to his competing, Eros was not available that often.

by s_vargas on 04 November 2006 - 01:11

Wouldnt you say that Ellute was doing the same thing. He was multiple times in the BSP. Eros was a great dog there is no disputing that...as far as breeding that remains the big question.

by cueman on 04 November 2006 - 05:11

I think Eros was in the WUSV 5 times, 2002-2006 and many more big games including winning the resent 2006 Belgium Nationals. I also think Ellute is a great dog and very worthy of many breedings. How many WUSV competition dogs in a row does it take to make one realize that these dogs were produced by producers that are producing the proper genetics generation after generation to compete in and win the big games?Competition is a good thing. :) :) :)

It is obvious Ellute is the producer of the two brothers and Eros is the better competition dog. It's an overwhelming trend that people are attracting themselves to the higher scoring competition dog. Eros was available for breeding as much as Ellute was available for breeding. Cueman pup might very well be a very good young prospect but Eros as of to date has not produced the quality his brother Ellute has produced. Ellute is one of Germany's highest rated stud dogs, this is not by mistake, Ellute was used for stud over 30 times just in 2005. A stud dog does not get this number of breedings in Germany, unless he produces.

Does anyone know how many times Ellute has been bred and how many times Eros has been bred?
