Years ago i had bought a dog from a lady who the male was from germany and the female was AKC. She registered the male AKC then the litter. She gave me copies of the female and the males pedigree includeing a copy of the males original german pedigree.
When I got the puppies AKC registration apparently they took the females pedigree, cut it in 2 and put it on both sides, Dam and Sire for the puppy. It is like the male never existed.
And this is who we have to deal with in the USA to register dogs. A great oirginization to promote the breed. LOL
