Can anyone verify this club? - Page 2

Good evening everyone.Thanks Kaffirdog,you beat me to it.I,too,can verify that this club is basically for ppl.with longcoated gsds,both german type n english type(please no nastiness nor comments about there being only 1 type for the moment)I just hope the OP.is not a stirrer as comments re this new club are being bandied on facebook n other forums.This NEW CLUB (take note)has been formed by breeders of longcoats(only standard colours allowed)in anticipation of our KC(UK)following in the footsteps of the mother country(SV-Germany)n allowing seperate classes at KC.licensed open/championship shows as per their standard coated friends.As kaffirdog has stated many al;ready show at companion dogs shows n their own shows n gsd rallies under the whites n longcoat society.They need guidance ,help n advice from established KC.registered gsd clubs on the protocol of running n promoting their clubs website.I have been assured that all committee members health test their breeding animals n only use those who have passed.I,myself have suggested that that statement n a clause be put in that all members have to health test n only use passed dogs n that it would be useful to have a list of the test for gsd health issues put on the website.We must be aware that most ppl.will be pet owners n not big,well known kennels who have been in the breed since year dot.I for one applaud these ppl.n wish them well in their pursuit to breed better,health tested longcoats.Carole Spelman Rheinmeister Showdogs from health tested parents of the german type.Remember folk,we were all newbies at one point in time.

thankyou for your responses. Please be assured my intention was not to stir. I am on the lookout for a longhaired gsd and saw a link on facebook. A good friend of mine on this board that i'm now thankfull i did not name suggested i ask on here because she to knew little about this club.
