Ike v Tiekerhook, produced far too many long coats for my taste.

Xinerobella v Tiekerhook "Ike" was the foundation female of my program, I was blessed to have her. Just a dream of a female - the absolute strongest, surest, finest female I have ever known. And produced many excellent dogs that also produced excellent dogs. A female that people who knew, remember forever - Thank you Shelly, for mentioning her. Strong female lines are indeed the most important thing in any breeding program.

Good response to most all above.
dajkzo (who also posts as tcmits and frenzi),
You (and only you) are actually making Molly's program/dogs look bad based on your repeated attacks on people and other dogs.
Let dogs, breeders and programs speak for themselves.

Longcoats are a necessary factor. No longcaot factor in your lines and you end up with very close, short coats. Besides, my longcoat pups invariably are the most precocious, first ones out of the box, usually fine working ability, etc. I have no problem placing them. I let them go for a fraction of what I ask for the normal-coated pups. Nobody cares if a good detector dog has long hair or not. They don't plan to breed anyway. In fact, a lot of law enforcement agencies prefer them because they look bigger than they are and they are harder for a suspect to grab. (He gets a handful of hair, the dog, now REALLY pissed, gets a mouthful of HIM!)

Longcoats don't bother me either. I don't breed for them, but sometimes they arrive - they are beautiful, healthy, and not difficult to sell to pet or working homes, for automatic pet-price and non-breeding contract. I like thick normal coats, I would rather have the occasional long-coat than very dry sparse coats, that I think is even less correct than a long-coat with undercoat.

I have give a big thumbs up to Xinerobella v Tiekerhook, as she is Hawk's grandmother. And grandmother to another dog I have here, Nova v Gebirgshaus.
As for females alive today, I have been very impressed with Andre Arportelea's ( I butchered the name sorry)female...one fiery bitch. I saw her at the 2006 H.O.T. and she did very well at the M.E. Regionals.
And I won't end without mentioning my own female Jule V Fuchsstein SchH1, AD, "a" normal, who I am taking this weekend to Koer. A Falk von der Wolfen daughter, who has been producing very nicely for me and with only two litters under her belt, has several progeny exceeding thier owner's dreams in Schutzhund and SAR. Her next litter already has several working home reservations.
Wait, one more...Claudia Romard's bitch, Yara von den Wannaer Hoehen. She is incredible. Consistent high scores...watch for her at the Nationals this year...she will be truly impressive. She is located in Auburn MA.

Lee, now posting as khill, and could be any of the following, kougar, the end, dogford4, beam_me_up_scotty, timlc has nothing positive to offer, this board is her (or perhaps he, maybe it would suffice) way of making negative comments about one person and their breeding program. I dont see anyone in this thread making negative comments about the dogs in your program (wolfstraum). Youre nothing but a foul mouthed imbecile, however if you could stay quiet, less people would know which is better for you in the long run.

dajkzo (also posting as frenzi and tcmits),
Your past nasty postings about other breeders, people and dogs degrades any input that you have on anyone and does have a bad impact
Provide some constructive imput (on anything)rather than spewing inane (heard the words used this week and thought it would be a good fit)and rambling comments that are rather hostile.
Kandi,
Good input. Hawk is a nice working dog.
