Wagonmaster, you are totally misinformed so truly have no business posting on this topic. One dog was in heat the other was not. The dog that left her handler (a man of 50 plus years)was in heat. The other was not. They were half sisters and both sired from Olex von Wilhendorf. That is fact.
Michael10, you also have no credible information to offer (Ie fence fighting the day before) and with all your experience how would you conclude the advisablility of putting the dogs in the ring? I believe that you, Mr. Carroll, put a dog in the event last year that was declared of ill temperament by the judge.
Correct, this was not as much of an incident as the bitch fight of Zaskia von der Liebeswrarte at the 2005 WDA Regional at Eastconn but I don't remember if the owner was "held" responsible. I do know that at that show one dog did require vet treatment.
The only truth here is that two females showed a bit of attitude toward each other and that the entire incident has been presented out of proportion and used in a pathetic personal attack.
Sadly it negatively impacts the organization, the hosting club, it's members and participants. I can only hope that those responsible are caught and disciplined. This is a very sad group of people indeed and have caused severe damage to our breed and sport.

wagonmaster,
Why "Grab the dog by the hind legs and pull like hell?"
I thought that's what the tail is for.
Bending over low enough to get a good grasp of the hind legs only exposes your own face as a target if you are not fast enough. Try the tail next time. Trust me. It works. :)

Kathy aka Spaetzle, troll. Elizabeth, (she has so many names its hard to remember)
Why dont you get a life? Your own lackluster stud Gerry bit someone and you have the nerve to get upset if anyone else in the world sees fit to comment on an incident. Maybe well get lucky and a house will fall on you (like the witch in Oz)
