Having run the picture through my graphics software, I can say that it is the picture, the pups are black.

I know Dennis and Marie personally and if they say the pups are black, the the pups are BLACK. Dennis works for a Fire Dept.
so if he was "on duty" then he was not allowed to be on the phone.

That was Not bashing. I could not understand the person, as I said. Thought he might be in Europe. Pups are cute and really a pretty color. I just wanted to get the color cleared up. By my calling, we all could know and not wonder or as the original poster said, "glitch, fraud, or stupity." So I was protecting your friend. I have too many dogs right now and cannot have more!!!
Since you know them, you should have posted to the original post and settled it right then. I was actually helping your friends.

Hello everyone I am glad you were able to visit the website. The puppies are solid black and the picture is bad. We took it in our pole barn at night and the coloring is off. Please next time just email the person instead of being petty. We were able to take new pictures and they will be posted tomorrow. My husband is a fireman and was "on duty" when k9nme called which is why he could not talk with you. I am sorry you decided not to call back you are missing out on some great pups. Now the dilemma is solved - not a computer glitch, or fraud or STUPIDITY. Just a bad picture! Thanks Dennis and Marie

And I want to say I am sorry to the original poster as after I posted, I realized that my post did not sound nice. Sorry.
And I repeat the pups are sooo cute and really pretty in the wrong color. I wanted to stop all the "talk" by calling. I am sorry that I called at the wrong time. I have too many dogs at this time and one is terminally ill and is costing a lot of money. Hoping to keep dog alive as long as possible and comfortable. Have no idea how long dog will last. Then still toooo many dogs.

They look black to me, or at least not like the few livers I have seen...full, dark and self-color. The eye rims, nose, lips all seemed black. The eyes look a bit strange in color though, so I can see why you might question the photos. It could just be an artifact of the image and lighting though.

I thought they looked solid black as well. Cute puppies!
