The dogs have a nice top line, great pulling and structure.

Robin, I think you need to cut back on the handlers food alittle. ;-)))

LOL! ...Markie!
As long as "dear hubby Carlos" can train, handle & show as many dogs as he does, at any given day or show.....he can "enjoy whatever meals" he wants!!!
Never met a man who had more stamina then him, especially for his size & structure.....
As for the young pups pictured......they are very, nicely structured.....they walk easily into the "stack stand"...(no manipulation)....."just an easy slide of the side back leg"....but they also have a 3sec attention span for such things!...
And Brian's young working line female...was simply walked into the stand, back leg slightly moved back and held there for the picture....
Carlos HATES to have to manipulate any dog for a "presentation or picture".....he believes that any "structurally sound" animal should easily be placed correctly.

Thank you to all who took the time to comment.

cool - a topic of conformation training!

i'm afraid I've messed up with Jyota in that she pulls so hard that it takes 2 hands on the leash to hold her and she looks terrible, she pulls and strains so hard she will even choak herself.

what can I do to help to back off a bit and look more relaxed while gaiting?

Sitasmom,
There are a couple different reasons why a dog can "pull" this way....
1st let me ask....."Where is the double handler"?
2nd....has the dog learned & conditioned to "gait" with a bicycle?
3rd...how was the dog taught to "work" for the Conformation Ring?
I know that they may sound like "weird" questions for some people.....but honestly, dogs learn the proper way to exhibit in the ring,...as in any other venue.

Looks so much fun! And the dogs look great too. :) I've always wanted to show my female.
