i have not meet zamp , but i am really intrested in useing him by AI. he is so far away. but i have talked to the breeder and zamp sounds like a very nice stud. very nice breeders. i know he has had 5 breeding since he came here last summer.

The nice thing about this dog is he is in my backyard; beautiful and has a litter coming soon; also he has been cleared for HD/ED; DM and cardio I believe as well as eyes cerf'd. Yeah

Hi there,
So nice to come on here and read some nice comments about my dog Zamp. I just happened upon this thread lucky for me so now I can give you all a little more info on him. I imported Zamp this summer with a friend of mine. He lives with me here in Southern California. I feel so fortunate to have been given the opportunity to have such an amazing dog in my home. Fritz Stenner of the Urbecke kennel is a class act, I look forward to meeting him in person. I have met his lovely granddaughter at this past NASS when she was here in the US for a few months. Zamp had lived with her prior to my purchasing him, it was so sweet to see their reunion, she was so happy to see him and he her, it had only been a few months so he had no trouble remembering her at all. She is the fantastic young trainer that put the last four SchH3 titles on him, out of his five, and she also won the German Youth Universal Sieger title with him. I just love that girl to pieces and she is welcome in my home any time :) As for Zamp, he really is just an amazing dog, he has such great working ability, yet is gentle with the youngest child and even with puppies that can be kind of annoying to a grown up dog. Everyone that has met Zamp just falls in love with him, he really is just a big teddy bear and an all around great dog. His gorgeous red color blows people away when they meet him in person as most people don't see German Shepherds that color, they are just used to seeing the black and tans, the people at the Home Depot he and I frequent agree he should be their new mascot LOL! His first litter is three months old today, all puppies have super temperaments, good food and prey drive and all around great personalities, my customers are all very happy with their Zamp puppies. He is an easy breeder, gets the job done quick and knows when the time is right....that's been quite the relief after having a male for two years prior that was unable to produce puppies, let alone barely even get them tied after trying for days sometimes. I had a client drive 8 hours to come and breed to Zamp and let me tell you she was happy to have her female bred and be back on the road again within the hour (she ran progesterone of course because of the long distance). Everyone in the above posts has already covered his pedigree and stats pretty well as far as I"m concerned, so I'll just add to it by saying, stud dog or not, outside breedings or not, this is hands down the best dog I've ever owned. He truly is what a German Shepherd dog should be in my book. Thank you everyone for your sweet comments, I hope Zamp gets to someday meet some of you in person to thank you himself :)

Would you please mind posting the videos of your stud dog passing the bitework at the German Sieger show, and please be sure to let me know if he placed higher than my dog did at V59, oh and you wouldn't mind posting some video of him playing with your children too would you? Thank so much, I really appreciate it because I for one am so into breeding dogs that are unable to do all of those things. Oh and could you please post your name too because we would love to know who to thank for the wonderful, highly intelligent and educated comments. Hey, why don't you just stick to the working dog threads and leave us nice folks alone :)

Barbie, this was a nice tred till someone said bad things, we know zamp is a good one and thats all that counts. you know i am going to use him next time Linda comes in, as i know they will be excellent pups.even if i have to do the AI. leoetta and trixx, I am just stating the obvious after watching the posted video. No need to get defensive. Did you train the dog yourself (HOT) or sent him away for titling and breed survey?

You may think you are stating the obvious, but your statement makes you look like you obviously don't know what you are talking about, because I'm sure you would never want someone to judge your dog off of one day of his bitework, although this bitework was good and was good enough for a high placing at the world sieger show. So your statement made above saying this dog should not be bred really makes me question your ability to even judge a dog, are you an SV judge or Koermeister for that matter, no I don't think you are, so if you want to argue with someone about the breed worthiness of this dog I'd be happy to give you a list of the judges that this dog has gotten V ratings under and also the name of the Koermeister that gave him a Koer Klass 1 saying that this dog is recommended for breeding to improve the german shepherd breed. Also as far as I'm concerned bitework does not make the whole dog, there are alot of other factors and you need to remember also that it originated as a temperment test and I can tell you this dog has never failed bitework at any trial or at either sieger show he has attended, please feel free to review his scores on my website on his page, and I'd love for you to share your dogs scorebook as well if you have more you'd like to say on this matter, otherwise I'd appreciate not hearing from you again regarding my dog Zamp. Thank you and goodnight. FYI He was imported from Germany already titled and breed surveyed and I never professed to be an (HOT) for any dog I own.

he's got URSUS VON BATU AND YASKO VOM FARBENSPIEL. perfect dogs to have in a line. i own a female that has them 2 in her line and she's just adorable, great drive, perfect posture and temperament, and something very important to me its the strong pigmentation, that really dark red and black. just beautiful. great choice for a stud.
