Question on temperament - Page 2

Lady Frost, I have family coming the 26th from out of state that will be staying with us for a few days and I will definitely try your method.

I have been taking him to the local Walmart Parking lot and he does pretty well staying engaged with me. Although if a boisterous group walks by he will not reengage with me until they are well out of sight.

Thank you all for your advice it is nice to have somewhere to go for additional ideals and experiences.

                     I am Greek too.......that is probably why I do that same thing with my male...I let him sniff the coats and shoes of guests and let him get comfortable with their scent.....It's a Greek thing....lol..

FROM MY OWN BREEDINGS I FIND THE CONFIDENT PUPS ARE BORN WITH IT. IT IS IN THE GENES. SOME ARE A LITTLE MORE SOTTLE BUT THAT IS OVERCOME BY AGE AND TRAINING,VIA STARBUCKS,PETSMART ETC. I USE PETSMART PERSONELLY BECAUSE ALL DIFFERENT PEOPLE CARTS,BUGGIES ETC. USUALLY A COUPLE 2 OR 3 TRIPS  AND THEY ARE READY TO GO NEXT TIME.
