Hi Kim & Mirasmom! I really love to learn as much as I can about my dogs forebears. I have just been delighted with Preston's post about Canto/Quanto as well...informative threads with real substance, no bickering.......it's like heaven!!!

Just looking through the articles here on the pedigree data base and seen the writings of my police dog ..... Alk .....I had to put him down at 14 1/2 yrs old........... brings a tear to my eye as he was something special ..... thanks for all the nice words about him ..... Greg

I am sorry to hear that he has gone to the Bridge. He sure produced some outstanding progeny. He lives on thru them.

Oh yes, this is what I look for in this data base. My boy is a decendent also. I love him and his drive immensely. Thanks so much for sharing this interesting piece of history.
