I assumed that Moons euthanized every puppy he produced except any he wanted to keep to ensure that they didn't end up having a bad, abused life or in a shelter, so I guess he doesn't need to test for anything.

On the point of wheelchairs for dogs - it's a very personal thing. I have known people who have had dogs who have seemed to be very happy with their carts. I think a lot depends on the dog and it's character and general fitness. Dogs are not like us, they don't regret what they have lost, they accept what they have in the moment. It falls to us to decide whether what they have is of good enough quality and make the right choice for them.
There is a lot of time when the dog won't be in the chair and therefore cannot be active and I wonder about that. Each to his own, and you have to know your own dog and your own heart in these circumstances. Would it be my choice - I don't know, but probably not, but everyone must choose their own path, it isn't for any of us to condemn or condone.

It seems Nemo is now passed and he was a Mastiff who lost the use of his back two legs.
Read the story here...I could not copy and paste a picture but there is a slide show of him in his WHEELCHAIR on the slide show
Also I discovered that there are several 2 legged dogs, one named Dominic on google and U tube which I cannot load
Sandra Bullock adopted a Chichuaha that only has 3 leggs and there are pics somewhere that I cannot load.
Seems there are many stories on the internet of dogs being shown to adapt to only two, or three legs.
Here is a link to a big page of two and three legged dogs plus other dogs standing or walking on two legs..
very interesting..On these pages are some in wheel chairs and some with two wheel carts.
