Just buy some MINT Jelly and fix a portion of one of those legs in a Roaster with the lid on and I am sure GSDTravels can give you the seasoning for it..
Serve with Mint Jelly , and some cheese or Creek Potatoes...
yum yum
MY mom was a YANKEE and they ate Lamb all her days at home..BUT in Texas we only see it in the store and not very often and when it is it is high sky in price.
Enjoy it
Soak the lamb in solution of Zesty Italian dressing over night...
or something of your choice..
to mellow the Yang..

Actually Ninja, I think it was the one on the right, LOL!
And to roast a leg, first stick a bunch of garlic cloves into the fatty part randomly, (just stab it with a knife, & insert peeled clove of garlic!)- but use a lot! Then rub the rest of it with rosemary, or use fresh rosemary in the roasting pan. My grandma would always put a bay leaf under the leg. Braise the leg'o'lamb at high temperture (500) for 20 minutes, (or sear it in a skillet until it's brown all over), then turn down the heat to 375 or 350, add red wine to the pan, if you desire, & cook until done to your liking. My Dad liked it rare. I like to cover it & cook until it's falling off the bone, yum! Season to taste with salt & pepper! (I just use pepper!) Serve with a garlicy mash of winter root veggies, like rutabagas, yams, & carrots, mashed with butter & cream & garlic; with fresh lightly steamed asperagus; or you could substitute the root veggies with new red potatos steamed with butter & dill. Yum, yum, yum.
Enjoy!

Oh, & authentic mint sauce is just chopped up mint leaves marinated in malt vinegar. Put them together & let the flavors blend at least a couple hours (while the lamb is roasting). Then just pour a little on your slice of lamb, or put some in a dish & dip each bite into it! Heaven! Little bites of heaven! jackie harris

LOL.thanks.... and so sorry for those who got a little grossed out....
Kalibeck I actually tried your recipe. and that was GOOD!!!!!! asparagus was great with lamb and so were red potatoes....I added half a stick of butter at the end....(I love butter, the real stuff, not the fake/slim one).
Blanket was washed in hot water with dawn softner and came out smelling like lilac....LOL...
By the way raw meat does not stains, uncooked fat does not grease stain or sticks to material like cooked meat/fat does, so its an easy wash... :)
