My sisters Gsd started eating poop. I cant tell you what food she was feeding him but she also changed to taste of the wild and he stopped.
I guess it is easily digested.

FWIW my pup ate his poop of *any* kind. Didn't matter if it was raw, kibble (or what brand, I use several), heck one time he pooped out a rock and brought it to me in his mouth, another time he pooped out a SOCK and started chewing on it. He was just nasty (and not a kennel dog either! Indoor dog and crate trained by me from 7 weeks on). He pooped a lot as a puppy, like sometimes I'd get home and let him out and he'd poop three times in 10 minutes, all normal formed poops. He outgrew the pooping a lot and the poop eating around 7 months, just stopped doing it. Maybe he had some digestive problem as a pup that caused him to poop a lot and want to eat it.
