But I do agree with David, at very least it would help to bump the entry's at the shows.

I noticed not only longcoats, but a white gsd and I think the dog above itin thephotos is a liver. At least, it looked like a dark liver to me. Very pretty. (Could just be the photo). Are all colors shown wherever this show was held?

The show was in Leicester UK
The club running the show was The GSD League of Great Britain,
We do not usually have long coats or non standard colours in breed shows
This was the first time I has seen it done, and it was well received by everyone at the show.
THE SHOW WAS IN MEMORY OF TONY HOWSON A WELL RESPECTED PERSON HERE IN THE UK SHOW SCENE.

Myfanwy,
Thank you for the information. How many longcoats and non-standard dogs were entered? Was there a requirement that the dogs all be intact?
Wuzzup,
I think you are right--he does look blue. Check the one above that one. It is a dark liver, isn't it?
Nice to see the opportunity given for the longcoats and the non-standard colors. They are beautiful dogs.
I'd like to see something like that here in the US. Wonder if the non-standards would be shown, though?
