I, too have the same problem. Can't close my bathroom door all the way anymore because they broke the door handle assembly. Anyone have problems with finding strange things hidden in their bed? My guys think of my bed as the "safe" spot and hide things in it. It's nothing to roll over and find a cow hoof or a dog toy under the blankets. I've even found a hairbrush and a roll of toilet paper hidden once. Don't know why he was saving
that for later, unless it was a surprize for me if I ran out!

OMG only to other dog people would I admit I find strange things in the bed too. My surprises are mostly hooves or toys. Once tho when my boy was a pup I found a half eaten box turtle wrapped up in the bedspread. YUCK.....and poor turtle......he was a brave little turtle to even come in the yard.............

Oh yes, I too have expensive "German" rugs all over my house. They strategically place themselves in inconvenient places. I don't remember the last time I went to the bathroom by myself..... Gotta love 'em

I can't shut the door on mine because they beat me in there! If I even look like I may be headed to the bathroom, even if they're in a deep sleep, they wake up and race to get into the bathroom and wait for me. Our bathroom is literally the size of a closet, so when you have 2 GSDs in there you can't even get the door shut. They also have to lifeguard for me when I take a shower, and if the curtain is open, the bathtub is an indoor pool! I went to visit a friend who has a GSD, and his dog made sure that I safely made it in and out of the bathroom as well.

I believe it's a conspiracy, the "captive audience" thing. They know they have you stuck for a few moments at least and make the most of it. I hear you. My big boy, Loki used to think it was the most hilarious thing to try and knock you off the "throne" with his head by just "bubbing" you with his nose. That was one big head and one big nose. My other two like to sit right on top of you if they can, at the least, crowd your feet as much as possible. Too funny. If I lock them out, then they lay against the door and practically fall in when I open it.

My girl Xena opens the toilet seat to get a drink, but there's a catch! She will franticly run to me and back to the toilet until I go flush it for her! FRESH TOLIET WATER, Mmmmmmm, yummy!
Our bathrooms called "the local slurpin' burpin' "

Im glad Im not the only one that dogs that love toilet water.
I Always wondered what it would be like to walk down the cleaning isle and buy that smelly good that you hand on the side of the bowl to sanitize the toilet or that pretty blue stuff you put in the tank.
That I will never know.
