Perhaps the grain in BB Lamb and Oatmeal (oatmeal, barley, brown rice, etc.) doesn't agree with Lilly? When we had Senta on TLC (contains oatmeal, brown rice, barley) she had at least 5 (!) really loose stools per day and was quite thin. She improved dramatically when we switched to a grain-free dog food (Acana Wild Prairie). When she got a bladder infection, the vet insisted that we give her a Royal Canin canned food (contained grains) which gave her terrible diarrhea ...that disappeared as soon as we stopped giving her the canned food.

Hi PitBullMommy,
You say she travels everywhere with you.
Are you giving her any tap water from the different
towns or states you travel through?
Sometimes water from different places can upset their stomach,
make sure it's bottled or from a filter and see if it goes away for good.

Mirasmom, yes, we give her tap water from the different states.
Never thought that it could be the water. We just bought her a 3 liter of Ozarka bottled water so we'll see how she does on that.
Thanks everyone, still curious to see if anyone else has any ideas.

My female had a similiar problem with blue buffalo. I agree with Carol a. Seems i would over feed from time to time. The loose stool was consistent. I wanted to swtch to wilderness but read on a food analysis site that it may not be good for puppies due to the protein. It recommended to wait until 18 months old. I swithced to raw for just over a year and I recently switched her over to wilderness. Stool is a little loose but also just switched to it. But the energy level has improved.

Reggie, Lilly's loose stool isn't consistant, which is what baffles me. I would say for every 5 FIRM stools, she has 1 soft/dihheria stool.
Stools are normal dark brown, except when she has her soft stool, that one is always a light brown, with a yellowish tint.
Not sure if that helps or not, but figure the extra information couldnt hurt.
