PA K9, I'm guilty of looking a couple of times and not commenting because I have no knowledge :( I enjoyed it and I appreciate you sharing. True Story - I love your avatar. Hazelron, PA? Bethany Ever after? Lol! Take care, Jen

clee27--Please don't ever feel like you can't comment because of a perceived "lack of knowledge." I always try to make a point of how little I have accomplished and how little I really know. Sometimes, though, I probably shoot myself in the foot. All of my verbose "disclaimers" probably repelled people more than anything. Most on the board probably thought, "Shut up already and let me watch the video!" Lesson learned.
I'm very flattered you like my avatar--I give my dog all the credit. I simply LOVE a blocky head on a dog. I know working dog people aren't supposed to care about looks--but my next dog also MUST have a blocky head.
Thanks so much for you comments--I'm always willing to have rational conversations with anyone who loves GSDs, no matter what you do with your dog.
Take Care,
Scott

Nice video... you and your dog did a great job.
I also like your avitar. I like the blocky heads on dogs too. I must say that you will not be dissapointed with a Slovak dog. I have a czech female and love her to pieces. She is my first Czech bred dog and I am very happy with her.

Scott,Hello from Toronto Canada.I watched your video and just want to say that I envy you for being able to train with your local PD.I have done some Schutzhund in the past although a bunch of us left the club we were with before I could title my dog and then I started to have an interest in real life scenario type training.I would love to be able to train with the Police.I think that you have done a good job with your dog.You are aware of his limitations and strenghts and work with them and this is to be admired.I love your call off, great job, very impressive.Yes,you should be proud of it.You keep up the good work brother.Good luck to you and your dog.Domenic

Jyl--Thanks so much. I've been reading your posts for years, so it's very nice to hear a compliment from you. Glad to hear you like blocky heads and Czech/Slovak dogs.
Domenic--very nice, thoughtful post. I kind of had a similar path as yours, doing some schutzhund, and some on again/off again training (life events kept getting in the way) but I kept plugging away and eventually got somewhere. I, too, love the real life training scenarios. I certainly hope you keep at it no matter what. Is there anything like PSA or SDA up your way in Canada?
