 Hello Aby,

Orwell is 17 months now and Erri 15 months. I think their front feet both stand on a small rock, that may affect how the pasterns appear as feet are pressed flatter.
Anyway I started believing that living, walking and running on rocky hard grounds worsened their feet and toes, Feet turned flatter and toes look longer, I don't know how to correct their feet and toes. I did my best to strengthen their hocks and pasterns and I see good results when I watch them run, make sharp turns and don't tire out. Thanks for the comments, dear Turk too.

Ibrahim, I wonder if that is true, because this pup I have that has been in a kennel on cement for the first eight months of his life also has poor front feet, and weak pasterns.  I will see if they improve.  I hope so.

Your boys have turned out very nice Ibrahim. Does Erri ever get accused of being a wolf?

Do they go with sheep every day? That is interesting.

best to you,
Rik

 Rik,

They herd sheep 3-4 days per week, one day we climb a mountain near the farm and come back it takes us about 4 hours, we daily do some excercises with ball fetching and similar, they are most of the time free in the farm which is 7500 square meters. The problem now is their feet and toes are flatting out though joints, hocks and pasterns are much stronger now. Our area is mountaneous with rigid earth and rocks. They do very well in climbing, when there are big rocks they go round them, they keep away from us about 50 meters and when we head back in the last portion of the distantance they run to the farm, when we reach we find them already there. Their front arm joints are better now, they walk and run straight, Erri healed 100%, Orwell I can say 70%. I think Orwell chest is deep and that maybe affects his front arms negatively.

Gucci, Ruger 1, ggturner thanks a lot, I'm very proud of both of them.

Ibrahim
