It seems to me that all of us German Shepherd people have or have had dreams of doing something with our dogs or we wouldn't be here...
I think Young people are definitely wanted and NEEDED to keep the Dream alive...A Dream to do something with our dogs...Train...Breed...Show...Trial...Whatever it is...But we've all had a Dream...And we need to perpetuate the desire in Young folk to preserve the breed and to have people around to have the knowledge to train them and keep their "working ability" alive and well...
Whether we like it or not everyone of us are guardians of the breed and affect the people we're around...We can do good and offer people help and teach them the things we have learned from others or we can sit around and discourage young people from taking care of our Beloved German Shepherds...
It is very difficult to make a living out of our dogs...although I'm sure most of us have had this idea before...So we need to help others to know what we know and to help them make the right decisions about them...
There are too many people out there that have the thought that I know this or that and if you want to know it...then you must pay for it...Not so sure this is a good way to go...
I think it would be great if each one of us would take someone (some young and some not) under our wing and teach them...advise them in the right ways to take care of this thing we LOVE...

~Bob~
