I did misunderstand your position. However, No club has authority over how people act outside their organization. In general if something occurs outside their venue of responsibility, the club or sport can not be held responsibile for an individual's action no matter how digusting it might be. This is a reflection on the person. However, if this type of behavior occurs at a club or event that would be different. Then it would be a matter of filing a complaint with the BOI.

Wardog, I agree. It's pretty clear. Some of this stuff does happen on club days, at club events, and so on. I hear all the time that it won't make a difference if people speak up. Maybe it won't, but I think we should. As for zdog..."I think the GSD world and bite sport world in general has much bigger issues to worry about rather than grownups acting like children." Agree with you too, BUT one of the problems we face all the time is the public perception of our BITING DOG sport. If we the owners, handlers, club directors, decoys, and breeders consistently represent ourselves in a responsible manner, it helps the public image, which in turn helps many of the problems we face. Doesn't solve them, but certainly helps. Behaving badly feeds the unfortunate image that many "laypeople" hold of the Schutzhund crowd - loudmouthed, trash-talking bullies with big dogs they are teaching to bite. If members don't tolerate bad behaviors, it's a step in the right direction.
